Biography

Executive Chairman of the Malaysian Association for the Differently- Abled, or the Persatuan Membantu Orang Kelainan Upaya Malaysia (PMOKUM), En. Silatul Rahim Dahman has shattered barriers many deemed impossible. Since 1993, his initiatives have empowered thousands of visually impaired individuals in Malaysia and other Asia-Pacific countries. Silatul Rahim has previously worked as the Head of ICT in the Malaysia Association for the Blind, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysian Foundation for the Blind. He is named as one of the 10 winners of the Star Golden Hearts Award 2024, an annual award by The Star that honours everyday Malaysian unsung heroes.
